Kitchens are Sophie’s speciality here at Stella Design Co. Each kitchen is completely individual for each client and all their wants and needs.
Laundry Design
Why not have a beautiful laundry too? From something completely different and colourful or maybe you would like the laundry to match with your kitchen. Whatever you are thinking, laundry design can be added on with your kitchen or done on its own.

From bar areas, home offices, wardrobes, bathrooms we can do them all here at SDC. You can add these areas in with your other spaces or Sophie can just look at that one specific area. We have done anything from small shelving units to the most beautiful bespoke bar areas, just ask!

RATES
A Design Fee will need to be paid before each job is started. Design fees are different for each job depending on the area or areas and how detailed the job is. The fee covers the hours to design your space or spaces + two lots of revisions at following presentation appointments – this can be discussed in more in detail at your initial catch up.
What is a design fee?
Design fees for kitchen design and the likes are standard practice now for independent kitchen designers like Sophie. The fee is based on the size and detail of your job. If your job is only a small simple galley kitchen the fee will be smaller, however if you have a large renovation on the cards and you are requiring design for multiple areas, ie kitchen, scullery, laundry + home office then the design fee for this will be larger as the hours to design will be longer.
The design fee is non refundable once paid and once Sophie has finished the designs those plans are yours to take. She is able to email a full copy of floor plans + elevations to you or print them out on A3 paper.
Sophies rates start from $1200 and will grow depending on the job, Sophie will let you know of her design fee after your initial meet up to discuss the project.
The initial meet is only a small half an hour appointment either via phone or in person (zoom is also fine), this is where Sophie and you can discuss exactly what you are wanting with your job – this appointment is not about specifics its just an overview of your project and to see how she can help you. She will discuss current lead times for her design work and installation for kitchens and make sure these work with your project too. After this meet up Sophie will calculate your design fee and send that through to you via email, she will be unable to begin work on your job until this fee is paid in full.
